Crann Mhor is the first house by the golf course as you arrive on Drimsynie Driveway. A few minutes walk to the leisure, dining and entertainment at the popular Drimsynie Holiday Village, as well as being close to the foot bridge over the River Goil for walking in to the village. A modern holiday bungalow sitting within an enclosed spacious garden. Parking for 4 cars. The deck area to the side of the house is the place to relax, socialise, watch the golfers and take in the loch & mountain views. There is much to do within walking distance as well as nearby. A family friendly golf course, free fishing from the shores of the loch, boat hire (available locally), walking, cycling (bike hire available locally). A short walk to the local hotel and leisure centre will provide further activities including a 25m swimming pool, gym, sauna, table tennis, badminton etc. The leisure centre is open on a pay-as-you-go basis. Hot tub – Important - There is no longer a hot tub option at this property. The property Lounge, separate dining room, spacious kitchen, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In the event that greater occupancy is detected, this would be grounds for immediate expulsion from the home for breach of contract plus the retention of the Good Housekeeping Deposit. We do not accept bookings from stag or youth groups. If you are in any doubt then check at the time of booking. No non-registered visitors are allowed. In no case may more people enter the house other than those indicated in the reservation. In the event that greater occupancy is detected, this would be grounds for immediate expulsion from the home for breach of contract plus the retention of the Good Housekeeping Deposit. Exceptions may be requested in advance by contacting Lochgoilhead Holidays. No pet, or visiting pet is allowed in the grounds or house. Scottish Government occupancy guidelines must be adhered to. These can change during this pandemic. Check the rules when booking. GOOD HOUSEKEEPING AUTHORISATION You are required to provide a Credit / Debit Card prior to being sent the key safe code for your arrival. This is held as a pre-authorisation. You will also be given the phone number for the housekeeper should you have any questions about the property while you are here. Scenery - picture postcard Scotland. Within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, Lochgoilhead sits at the head of a total fjord type sea loch. Backed by the mountains of the Argyll Forest Park, we like to think this place is pretty special. Activities - for a small village there is an excellent choice of things to do. Take to the hills on a number of marked walking trails. Take to the water on kayaks, a group canoe trip or hire a boat. The local leisure centre has a 25m indoor swimming pool, sauna,a Jacuzzi, indoor play area and a range of activities. Open to the public. Entertainment - Friday night in the Goil Inn is either an acoustic night or bar entertainment. The nearby holiday village has regular entertainment. Touring - We have a number of scenic drives laid out for you for the must-see things in the area. Tours of the Cowal Peninsula, drives to Glencoe, Oban, the Trossachs - and Edinburgh. You can arrive by public bus from Helensburgh or Dunoon. The bus stop is close to the house. To be fair, a car will help you get the most out of your stay in Lochgoilhead.
