With a private entrance you enter the light and airy studio apartment. It has a full kitchen with the usual appliances. A washer/dryer sits in a recess off the kitchen. You may have use of an iron and ironing board and use of a communial washing line for those who need it The seating area has a double seat sofa and a single armchair with wonderful views across the field. You have a t.v. and c.d. player with books and dvd's and c.d's available for you to use. The sleeping area has a king size bed with plenty of storage for clothing. A hair dryer is also provided. A skylight above the bed for viewing the stars make a nice touch. A shower room with a sink and toilet completes the facilities. Guests may walk in the field and woodland attached to the property and if weather permits outdoor seating and table will be provided. There is a large pond with some rather large fish in that you may feed. At times there are ducks and moorhens roaming around as well as deer. Our own home is on site so we are available if you need us but generally after greeting you we leave you alone. However, feel free to chat to us about your day, we love to hear your news. We are stuated in a quiet village but approximately 12 miles from the historic cities of Southampton, winchester, Portsmouth & Southsea. Being in the countryside but close to the action there are opportunities for all. There are some beautiful places to walk or cycle, while local attractions such as The Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth or Marwell Zoological Park are nearby.
