The village of Bethines is situated in the countryside and is quiet and beautiful with plenty of woodland, country and a river walks. Our newly renovated house completed in June 2021 has all the facilities you need for an enjoyable stay for your holiday in Bethines, Vienne (86). Our "Impasse" is quiet and peaceful. At the property there is free wifi, free parking, a patio area, satellite tv. You will be booking the entire house to yourselves for complete privacy. Travelling workers are welcome Our property is around 200 years old and has 5 rooms which includes a kitchen with a dining table and a separate table for computer work for travelling workers, a comfortable living room, two bedrooms and a bath/shower room. All rooms have been newly decorated, new electrical wiring and new plumbing to the bathroom and kitchen. There is a private parking space outside and in front of the property. We are within walking distance to the neighbourhood where there are two bar/restaurants, a post office and a grocery shop which also sells baguettes and coffee. Quiet and peaceful within walking distance to shop and restaurants. You can walk around the neighbourhood to the shop and one restaurant and one bar/restaurant, both with outside seating, and a small food store for essential needs which also has a post office. There are some lovely forest and river walks around Bethines. You are also near St.Savin which has a World Heritage Abbey,Montmorillion and Le Blanc towns for main shopping and fuel. For the main attraction there is Futurascope in Poitier which is about an hour away. The Valles de Singes (Monkey Zoo) at Romagne is a good day out for the family. Also, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the Aire de Loisiers or recreational areas along the banks of the river Vienne. Le Cormenier Museum is worth a visit experiencing living through the history of the area since 1900 with 16 interactive displays. Le Brenne Natural Regional Park is nearby in the Indre department Enjoy your stay. Free parking at our property Please note that we do not allow any pets.
