Great central location for exploring Scotland. 2 bed mid terraced house with magnificent views over Dumbarton Castle and the River Clyde. Minutes from Overton Estate with plenty of walking and bike trails. Excellent base for visiting the stunning Loch Lomond area and beyond, with convenient access to Glasgow and Edinburgh by train or car. Please note that there are a number of stairs to access the property, so may not be suitable for someone with mobility issues. On street parking. The house is set at the top of a hill, surrounded by open countryside, where you can often see horses grazing in the adjacent field. Beautiful walks can be accessed nearby into Overton Estate and the Long Craggs. I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines Guests will have exclusive use of the whole house. There is a patio area and drying green at the back of the house and garden at the front of the house. A table and chairs are available for use outside to take advantage of the stunning views. I will leave the key in a key box and provide you with the code before your arrival. I will be contactable by phone and available to offer any assistance required. Barnhill road is a quiet residential area and the road comes to an end a bit further along the street, therefore there is minimal traffic. It is accessed from the main A82 road, providing convenient access. The closest train station - Dumbarton East is 0.8 miles from the house, where you can get trains directly to Glasgow, Edinburgh, Balloch and Helensburgh. Buses to the Scottish highlands can be boarded about 0.5 miles from the A82 road. Loch Lomond and Lomond Shores is only a 15 min drive from the property. Glasgow airport is a 20 minute drive away, a taxi will cost approximately £30.00. On street parking is available outside the house. The central heating is controlled by a digital panel situated in the kitchen. I will set the heating to be on in the evenings and mornings. You are welcome to change the time and heat settings if you wish, and the manual to explain this is in the house in the blue folder. Apart from the bathroom radiator, all of the other radiators have thermostat valves, so you can turn radiators off and on in each room as you wish. (they will only be on if the digital controller is set to be on)
