Groom’s self contained accommodation in the corner of a working livery yard. The Plough Inn serving great food + village shop are opposite. Accommodation is a bed room, sitting room (inc wood burner) + kitchen dinner, shower room & porch. Good for exploring the Surrey hills by bike / on foot & for having a generaly horsey time. Our guests love the vibe generated by the breeding & training programme. We will facilitate close contact with the horses as much as possible. Basic but atmospheric. You are in the corner of a working yard. Recently refurbished but with a basic kitchen. You will be very comfortable and certainly enjoy your stay. We are all very relaxed here! Best suited for 2 guests only. Once you have introduced yourself to me and I have pointed out one or 2 safety issues that may prevent you accessing parts of the property - go where you want apart from the main house. I work from home so am not normally far away. I always have my mobile with me and will do my best to be available to assist at all times This is a cheerful and welcoming little hamlet in the middle of the Surrey Hills AONB - the usual mix of young families, retired couples , commuters and homeworkers. We are surrounded by other villages, pubs, working farms and larger estates (both private and owned by the National Trust or Forestry Commission. There is an occasional bus into Dorking (where trains go regularly to London - 1 hour). But you are mainly reliant on your own car, feet, bike or Thom's goodwill. We will send you a quick email to confirm your reservation and let you know anything else that may effect your stay at that point. Sadly until the necessary permissions and insurances are in place we can not offer horse rides.
