Stay in my private studio apartment that has the vibe of warmth and serenity. It is situated in a quiet neighborhood of Stony Brook with beautiful tree-lined streets. The studio has a warm and rustic feel and detailed amenities to make your visit a pleasure. It is perfect for someone traveling for business at Stony Brook Hospital or for parents or grandparents of a student attending Stony Brook University (5 minutes). It is great for couples attending a wedding at the Harbor or nearby towns. The studio is 10 minutes from the LIRR train station (1 1/2 hour from Manhattan), Approximately 30 minutes from Suffolk County Courts in Riverhead and Tanger Outlets shopping, and 1 hour from the Hamptons, Greenport, and 2 hours from Montauk, which make ideal day trips. The studio is also 20 minutes from Melville, which is the hub for many businesses. Guests have the entire apartment to themselves. They have access to the front porch and backyard. As a host, I am available for questions since I live on the premises in a separate unit with a separate entrance. My guests will be able to use the backyard and the the front patio, where they can sit and have coffee facing the garden and enjoying fresh air. Stony Brook is a historical town with a beautiful harbor and Nature Preserves. There are walking trails with ponds. There is great boutique shopping in town and nearby Smithtown, St. James and Port Jefferson, where they can take the ferry to Connecticut and Fire Island. This is a perfect staycation place that is affordable with access to a variety of places for day visits.
