Casa Branca is a typical Portuguese country house, more than 400 years old, located in the middle of the picturesque village of Covas. In the foothills of the Serra da Estrela. Enjoy nature and tranquility Recently, our casa, while retaining its characteristic elements, renovated and fully equipped.The House is divided into 3 different apartments: Oliveira; Camelia and Tileira. All apartments have a private entrance and are comfortable and attractively furnished. At the apartments is a garden of 4000 m 2 with terraces, a private source, fruit and olive trees, vines and several seating areas and shade places.The swimming pool offers a welcome cooling off on hot days. From the garden there is a beautiful view of the Valley and you can be undisturbed. You have access to the garden with its various terraces and seating areas and swimming pool. In addition, you can-if you need a little more sweat droplets-use a common sauna. You use together with the guests of the other apartment use of the garden and the swimming pool. Covas, a small village in the green heart of Portugal, is easily accessible by car and public transport. Ideal for a walking and/or cycling holiday in a beautiful unspoiled surroundings. In the summer there is every weekend a festa (Village Festival) in one of the surrounding villages, with music, dances, food and of course tasting the local wines. Also the picturesque local markets are well worth a visit. Casa Branca is our holiday home and we stay there (unfortunately) only a few weeks a year.
