Renovated, comfortable - fitting 2. Home away from home. We are experienced hosting many international guests including students. Designer garden. Separate & private entrance. Complete with kitchenette, walk in robe, dining area &bathroom. Bus stop is a 5 mins walk away. Plenty of street parking. Safe leafy neighbourhood. Local shops/major shopping centres/golf course/fitness centres within 5-10 mins drive. Light breakfast and some snacks included!! NBNconnected. Deck& treadmill use on request. Homey, warm and cosy in winter (centrally heated) and cool in summer. Modern and renovated. Note - the ceiling in the middle of the room is low so the unit is not recommended for people over 5 feet 10 inches in height (180cm). You can access our garden at your leisure and enjoy some visiting cuckatoos/lorikeets and the odd lady bug or praying mantis or two! We have a treadmill in the garage which you can use. You're also welcomed to use our deck too during the day (but pls let us know beforehand as it’s adjacent to our private living space). There's a couple of local reserves about 5 mins drive away (bellbird reserve, koomba park) which are absolute delights if you're keen to go for a run or a nice walk. We'll pop by and say hello when your first arrive and thereafter as often as you need us to! We'll be present during your stay as we live here but will give you the full privacy your require! The bird life, greenery, friendly neighbours. Easy access to shops and major shopping centres in every direction within 5-15 minutes drive (Eastland, Doncaster, The Glen, Knox, Chadstone) or a bus ride. Local eateries include Italian, Chinese, Indian, Japanese and Thai cuisine - all within a 5 to 10 minute drive!! There are plenty of Uber Eats and Cafes nearby too so we'll let you know all our favourite spots!! The easiest way to get around is via a car but there are frequent buses available even on the weekends. The bus stop is a 5 min walk away and takes you to Heatherdale or Glen Waverley train stations or you can ride the bus to the local Vermont South shops on their way to the three of the major shopping centres in this part of town - the Glen, Chadstone and Eastland. The train station on the Lilydale/Belgrave lines are well serviced and generally run very 5 minutes or so. There's plenty of unlimited parking available on the street. We're right on the Eastlink Burwood Highway exit and close to the Eastern freeway too. There is a tram line (no. 75) from the Vermont South local shops opposite Burwood Highway. The above mentioned bus heading towards Glen Waverley will take you there and the tram ride is 45 mins to the city. Gym equipment available to use on request: - gym mat - dumbells - treadmill (in garage) - balancer. Washer - we will wash your clothes for you if you wish if it's a 4 night stay or longer. Otherwise there is a 24 hour laundromat in Mitcham (10 mins drive) and along Burwood Highway (about 5 mins drive from the house). Dryer - from mid June 2019, we can dry your clothes with a dryer but this will come with a nominal charge as this cost has not been considered in the daily rate. We will dry it at a setting you request and take no responsibility for any damage to your clothing. Clothesline - you're welcomed to hang your clothes out on the clothesline right outside the studio. There's also a large clothes rack in the studio. Fridge and freezer - the studio comes with it. Linen - there's plenty of linen in the white entry cupboard next to the front door so just help yourself if you need any extra bedding etc. Wifi - we'll provide the access codes on check in.
