Le Studio at Chez Jousseaume

Located in the Charente Maritime surrounded by sunflowers and vineyards, Le Studio at Chez Jousseaume is a modern studio apartment for two within a traditional Charente Longère farmhouse. As well as a private terrace with furniture and BBQ there is an 11m heated outdoor pool, covered terrace with dining area / summer lounge and 2.5 acre (1 hectare) of tranquil gardens. Bicycles are provided free of charge to explore the area. An excellent breakfast is available to order. Free WiFi. The emphasis at Chez Jousseaume is on peace and relaxation for two. One of only two apartments on site, Le Studio is well equipped with a King size double bed, modern stylish furnishings and fittings, fully fitted kitchenette with dishwasher and washing machine, Satellite TV with french FranSat and english FreeSat channels, a modern en-suite shower room with walk-in shower. For those who like music there is an audio system with Bluetooth, CD, radio and USB connectivity. Free high speed WiFi internet access is provided within the apartment and the covered terrace / pool areas. The apartment has a private terrace with outdoor furniture and barbeque. There is secure on-site parking. In addition to the apartment and private terrace, guests have access to the heated pool, covered terrace and gardens. The communal areas are shared with one other apartment with two guests. During the warmer months breakfast is served on the covered terrace or in your room between 07:30h and 09:30h. During the winter breakfast is served in the breakfast room between 8:00h and 9:30h. The pool is open from 08:00h to 21:00h May to September. An honesty Bar is located on the covered terrace and stocks a selection of wine, beer, crisps and chocolate. Sercure parking is provided on-site. Katie and I live on-site and are available most of the time. We have a large library of information about local sites and places to visit. If required we can plan your day trips for you. Chez Jousseaume is located 7km from Jonzac with it's Chateau, Covered Market, Antilles water park, Cinema, Centre de Congrès and an extensive selection of Cafés, Restaurants and Bars. The Charente Maritime region is well known for it's fields of sunflowers and vineyards. Most of the grapes are used in the production of Cognac and the local Pineau. We are ideally situated to explore Pons, Cognac, Saintes, Angouleme and the Charente Maritime / Haute Saintonge region. We are not able to accept pets. We are not able to accept children. Smoking is not permitted within the apartments. Smoking is permitted in the communal areas and gardens.
