Modern ground floor annexe adjacent to host's home on the edge of countryside, and within a short walk of town centre amenities. It's ideal for couples looking for a relaxing break, or as a quick stop-over. Based in a quiet residential area, it's very safe for lone travellers. Number Nine is a fully self-contained modern ground floor level annex. It's perfect for short breaks and holidays, being on the edge of countryside, a 15 minute level walk to the town centre, and just a hour's drive to the coast. The fully equipped kitchen features a double oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Basic supplies are provided (tea, coffee, sugar milk) to start you off. Egyptian cotton bedlinen is provided for the kingsize bed, together with towels and robes. The comfortable sitting room has a TV, dining area and free wi-fi is available. Guests have a small grassed terrace for their exclusive use, accessed by two steps with table, chairs, and barbecue. You are also very welcome to use the rest of our garden. We are always happy to help in any way that we can to make your visit a success, but we will never impose, and will always respect your privacy. We run a business in Shaftesbury at the top of iconic Gold Hill, so are never too far away if you need any help or advice. We are relaxed and easy going. Number Nine is ideally placed for a level stroll into the historic town centre. It also has country footpaths just 5 minutes from the front door, and the closest pub is just 7 minutes away. A little further in the town centre we have several more pubs, a wide range of restaurants and cafes, and Tesco's Supermarket. Shaftesbury has bus and taxi services, and a main line train station five miles away in Gillingham. Full details are provided in your Welcome Pack. As we are situated in a quiet residential area, we would appreciate that you respect our neighbours, particularly if returning home late at night. Number Nine backs onto a school playing field, and therefore has occasional sports activities.
