The apartment has a large sleeping room ( double bed and standard single bed, baby cot, plus a very small children's bedroom (bunk bed), bathroom with shower, large kitchen/living room with sofa bed for two people. The kitchen has a fridge, two gas rings and a microwave oven. Wi-fy is available. The apartment is on the first floor. The accommodation has everything you need. Air conditioning and heating is also provided and there is a large car park. There is lots of space all around the building where you can do jogging or walking and a little playground for the children. Garden, terrace, all around the farm. As for myself, I feel that I have deep roots in this place. My great grandfather built the property and I worked with the dairy herd with my father for 25 years before farming here on my own account and I could never envisage living anywhere else. I like all animals but cows are my passion and I now breed Piemontese beef cows and Jack russell terriers. My son John has inherited my passion for animals and he loves to help on the farm and breeds love birds as a hobby. My hobbies are reading, the cinema and theatre, and enjoying the culture of my my beautiful country. We also go walking in the nearby mountains and I am a member of a cultural group in Rome that organizes special visits to unusual places of interest. As a family we have a small organic kitchen garden, the produce from which we are happy to share with our guests, and we also produce our own olive oil. My husband is British and my three children are bilingual, with my daughter Emma also speaking fluent Spanish and French. I live just 150 metres from the apartment and am always available to help guests with information and advice. Information on the area We are just 10 minutes from the Appenine Mountains. My area is famous for the three World Heritage villas - Villa Adriana, the country home of the Roman emperor Adriano, Villa D'Este, which is known for its fountains, and Villa Gregoriana, situated by Tivoli's waterfall. Also famous is the monastery of Subiaco, which is built on the grotto where Saint Benedict spent his years of solitary contemplation before going on to found the Benedictine Order. Another attraction since Roman times are the thermal baths with sulphur water, which are available in the summer just 4 km from Agri Domus. The white travertine marble which was used to build Rome is only found locally and has been quarried here for over 2,000 years. Tivoli is rich in shops, restaurants and bars, and there is plenty of cultural activity during the whole year. There are many other places of interest too numerous to mention, but you will enjoy discovering these for yourself. We are 30 minutes by car from Ciampino Airport. It is easier if you have your own car. Car parks are available in Tivoli and Villadriana. If you want to go to Rome you can take the train from Guidonia(4km), Guidonia-Roma, and it will take 45 minutes to be in the center of Rome. Otherwise you can leave your car at the car park at Ponte Mammolo (16 km from us) and take the underground. You will be in the center of Rome in about 20 minutes. Car parking for the day costs Euro 1.50 and you can travel into the city centre for just Euro l.50. I live 150 metres from the apartment and I am available for any request.
