It is in the heart of Ditchling village, which is popular with those walking or cycling the South Downs Way. There is a beautiful cafe opposite where you can sit outside and watch the world go by.. There are 2 wonderful village pubs, The Bull which is 2 doors down has recently won a prestigious award. An award winning Art gallery as well as its own Village pond and cricket pitch. A very English little village, but also ideal if you want to go to the city of Brighton (10 mins by car) with all its many attractions, and only a 10 minute drive from Sussex University. Lewes town which is beautiful and has a river running through -is 15 minutes by car . Glyndebourne is also very close, and Plumpton racecourse just up the road as well as many truly lovely vineyards.
