These stylish tents have been carefully finished with a wooden frame which creates an atmosphere and look reminiscent of the distant colonial past. Each safari tent is located in a stunning piece of meadow where you can enjoy optimal space and privacy. Our motto is to keep things to a small scale and to offer the highest quality. From the tent you look out upon the beautiful rolling hills of Burgundy and enjoy the ultimate country life in a luxurious way. Experiencing a truly special holiday in the natural rhythm of the great outdoors. Each tent is extremely spacious and beautifully furnished, peppered with hints of Africa. A romantic four-poster bed, a rustic built-in double bed and a set of bunk beds provide room for six people. Sleeping under canvas you can enjoy the nocturnal sounds of a rich diversity of animals, such as frogs, crickets and birds, including the characteristic hoot of the tawny owl, a permanent resident of Kimaro Farmhouse. The luxury safari tent is equipped with a cosy country kitchen with a four-ring gas oven and a fridge-freezer. Cutlery, pots and pans, glasses, cups: it’s all there. The tent also has fixed lighting and a permanent electricity supply. A long table with comfortable canvas chairs invites you to indulge in a culinary feast! Relax with a good book in the cosy snug in the tent or on the swinging couch on the veranda. The tent also has a separate inside toilet. And the romantic bath tub invites you to enjoy the perfect end to a wonderful day full of activities and relaxation. In the summer we offer Table d' hôtes in our cosy, country-style outdoor restaurant. Kimaro Farmhouse is situated amongst rolling meadows. In the morning you’ll be greeted by our ‘neighbours’, the Charolais cows, for which Burgundy is so famous. From the property, you can take a sandy trail into a gigantic forest - perfect for a long walk, or mountain-bike ride. Culturally, Burgundy is one of the most interesting regions of Europe and is the wine region of France. Aside from this, Burgundy offers one of France’s most beautiful and diverse landscapes, and where joy and tranquility are king. The picturesque French villages, castles and landscapes in our immediate surroundings will truly delight you. Kimaro Farmhouse stands for quality and authenticity on a small scale. During the cooler Spring and Autumn days the tent is gently warmed by a decorative gas stove which is a permanent fixture. Bedlinnen is included. Towel package: No hassles with wet towels in your luggage for the return trip. You can rent a towel package for € 4,50 per package. A package consists of 1 large bath sheet and 1 bath towel. Kitchen package You can rent a kitchen package for € 4,50 per package. A package consists of 1 kitchen towel, 2 tea towels and a dishcloth. You can reserve your kitchen and/ or towel package while making your reservation.
