Bee Hive’ is a cosy two story property located in the centre of Merthyr Tydfil in the heart of the Welsh valleys. It’s is perfectly located for guests wanting to visit Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding areas via the towns central bus and train station (they are both within a short walking distance!) These modes of transport provide excellent links to Cardiff, Pontypridd, Swansea, Brecon and many more surrounding areas. The accommodation consists of a kitchen, utility room and a lounge with a 50" TV. Upstairs, there’s 2 bedrooms and a bathroom with large shower. At the rear, there’s the benefit of off-street parking in the evening as well as a safe and secure storage room suitable for 5 large bikes, all covered by CCTV. Being located in the town centre there are many cafes, restaurants and retail shops right at your finger tips, one of our favourites is the 'Busy Bee Fish Bar & Cafe' thats been in the town for 35 years and serves great food all day long and is definitely worth a visit during your stay. There’s a Superbowl, leisure centre and cinema complex about a five minute walk away. We’re directly behind the central bus station; it is perfectly located for guests wanting to visit Merthyr Tydfil and surrounding areas via car or the towns central bus and train station (they're within a short walking distance!). The Taff Trail is a popular walking and cycling path that runs for 55miles between Cardiff Bay and Brecon and passes just behind our location. Whether your stay is for work or to visit family and friends, enjoy and relax a short leisure break whilst embracing the views of the well-known Brecon Beacons National Park and all that it has to offer! We are located approximately 20 minutes by car from the Brecon Beacons and Pen Y Fan, and approximately 5 minutes from Bike Park Wales. The well know Brecon Mountain Railway, Cyfarthfa Castle, Cyfarthfa Retail Park, Rhydycar Leisure Park and Trago Mills are all within a 5 minute drive. Cardiff (our capital) is a 30 minute drive away on the A470.
