Tweed Cottage is a holiday cottage set in private maintained gardens with stunning views overlooking the historic town of Jedburgh. The accommodation is suitable for short or long stays and includes all the facilities for up to four people. There is a cot. Outside there is a veranda. The cottage is only five minutes walk from the center of Jedburgh. Please note, because of the cottage's prominent location overlooking the town access is via a series of steps and quite steep paths that might prove difficult for guests with limited mobility. A cot and toys are available for guests with very young children. Owner and cottage manager will be contactable via phone during the stay Jedburgh is a historic Scottish Borders town with a world famous Abbey, a Castle, Mary Queen of Scots House and lots more to see. It boasts a wide range of restaurants from Fine Dining, Pub Meals, Asian and traditional. Easily reached by the A68, Jedburgh can be used as a base for touring the Scottish Borders. Edinburgh can be reached by road or via train from Tweedbank, which is a 25 minute drive. There are a wide range of walking, cycling and running routes around the locality.
