Farmstay with private garden - Ora et Labora

Want to get a away and relax in your own space with views of pastures full of animals? Imagine sitting in your private garden watching the sun set while having a barbecue. The 30m2 meter room has beautiful oak wooden floors, original wooden beams and floorheating so you will never be cold. Your private big bathroom has a double sink, plenty of towels, a big shower and toilet. The kitchenette with coffee machine and milk foamer for cappuccinos , a microwave, mini stove, kitchen utensils, and fridge enables you to cook small meals and make breakfast. We provide you with coffee, tea, salt, and sugar. A seating area with a tv, a table and chairs gives you the chance to read a good book, do some work or just enjoy the views into the garden. There is a suitcase rack for your luggage and a cupboard to put away your clothes. The curtains are heavy and dark if you like a good nights rest, but open they give a gorgeous view of your private garden with barbecue and table. You have a private entrance to your own space, a room, bathroom and garden with views over the pastures (which are habited by a large heard of sheep in the spring/summer). If you come with a child he/she can play in our garden which has a trampoline, swings, a slide etc. And if you let us know the age of your child we can set up a baby/toddler cot and toys. If you have any questions we are available to answer anything from questions about local transport, things to do and help you with ordering dinner or finding a restaurant. Our village alone has a lot of activities, it offers beautiful walks, a pub with simple meals, a goats cheese shop and lots of bike rides. Around Beets are sauna's, traditional cheese markets, lots of good restaurants, the Markermeer to swim in in the summer, opportunities to go boating, lots of walk and bike routes, museums, a route by steamtram, visit traditional windmills and we are just a 30 minute carride from the beach and Amsterdam, 15 minutes from cheesemarkets and Volendam/Zaandam. In your room you will find a extensive guide with activities. From our village there is an express bus that takes you to Amsterdam in 35 minutes, but also to Hoorn in 15 minutes, Edam and Volendam in 15 minutes. We have two bikes you can borrow (if you want with childseat). We do not have supermarket in our village, but a 5 minute carride from our house gives you access to a Plus supermarket, butcher, flowershop, postal office, bakery, market, spirit shop etc. On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday a mobile bakery bus delivers bread, pastries etc. at our house.
