Steps away from the footbridge that leads to the shore side walk into the village. The property Private parking by the entrance to the house. Enter via the hallway into the dining and open plan lounge with laminate flooring, This area is bright and roomy and is ideal for family and friends to socialise. Fully equipped kitchen adjacent to the dining area. There is one family bathroom as well as a second WC. Outside, and down some steps, you come to a large grassy area leading down to the golf course.. This is great space for children to play or else to sit out and enjoy the view. It is important to point out that the outside space is mainly for parking. No garden as such. Also important to point out there is just the one shower and wc. Lochgoilhead is a sensational walking area. Discover the walks not usually found online. 21 walks from the Rest and be Thankful down the glen to Carrick Castle. Easy to muscle-crunching, as well as the popular dog walks, there is something here for everyone. You are hiring the entire property I live in Lochgoilhead. Within the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park, Lochgoilhead sits at the head of a total fjord type sea loch. Backed by the mountains of the Argyll Forest Park, we like to think this place is pretty special. Activities - for a small village there is an excellent choice of things to do. Take to the hills on a number of marked walking trails. Take to the water on kayaks, a group canoe trip or hire a boat. The local leisure centre has a 25m indoor swimming pool, sauna,a Jacuzzi, indoor play area and a range of activities. Open to the public. Entertainment - Friday night in the Goil Inn is either an acoustic night or bar entertainment. The nearby holiday village has regular entertainment. Touring - We have a number of scenic drives laid out for you for the must-see things in the area. Tours of the Cowal Peninsula, drives to Glencoe, Oban, the Trossachs - and Edinburgh. You can arrive by public bus from Helensburgh or Dunoon. The bus stop is steps away. To be fair, a car will help you get the most out of your stay in Lochgoilhead.
