Three bedrooms upstairs with brand new mattresses and bedding let you have a dreamy sleep to the sound of the countryside. One bathroom downstairs has a shower/tub combo, and upstairs bathroom has a shower. The den is a cozy spot for chilly evenings. AWD or 4WD needed in winter. Located on a dead end country road but just outside of the popular vacation town of Margaretville where you will find shops, restaurants and groceries. The cabin sits on 5.5 acres of wooded land surrounded by countryside with a magnificent view of the mountains. A fire pit with natural rock sitting area is a great place to warm up in the evening and roast marshmallows. Open the windows at night to fall asleep to the sound of a mountain brook gurgling. The house itself has a large deck for entertaining outdoors and an open floor plan. A side porch off the kitchen has a sitting area. Also off the kitchen is an additional dining area for 4, this doubles for workspace and a game room. Newly renovated with everything you need for a restful vacation! Sorry, no pets! Guests have full access to the house. Closets that are locked are not for guest access. Vacation Rental Host is available as needed. A vehicle is needed to enjoy the countryside. There is no or limited Uber or cab service in the area. Guests must be 26 years old or older to book. Cleaning fee is for up to a one week stay. Stays over one week have an additional fee depending on length of stay. Stays over 2 weeks will have a cleaning fee of $400. Trash must be sorted and recycled in the Delaware Watershed. A $35 cleaning fee will be added if garbage is not sorted. The house is on a private dead end road. It is maintained throughout the year but please keep in mind that it is a single lane gravel and dirt road which often has pot holes. Drive slow. NOTE: IN THE WINTER MONTHS OF NOVEMBER - MARCH IT IS RECOMMENDED TO HAVE A FRONT WHEEL DRIVE, ALL WHEEL DRIVE OR 4 WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLE. WHILE THE PRIVATE ROAD AND DRIVEWAY ARE MAINTAINED BY PLOWING THE ROAD IS UPHILL, NARROW AND NOT SANDED. LOW TO THE GROUND AND REAR WHEEL DRIVE VEHICLES MAY HAVE TROUBLE. The home is ADT monitored. Cameras are positioned at the front of the house overlooking the front lawn, the back of the house looking into the woods and on the doorbell. There is a motion sensor inside the house that is OFF during guest visits and there is a doorbell camera. There are NO cameras inside the home. Cell service is limited in the area and there is no cell service at the house. You can make and receive calls through WiFi Calling. Check the Carrier Settings on your cell phone to turn on. The house also has a phone for receiving calls.
