Tivy View sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms, the master bedroom features a roll top bath. This spacious, semi-detached family home is full of original features, including a log burner, it is an ideal retreat for those looking to explore the spectacular coastline of West Wales. Suitable for couples and families, dogs are most welcome Conveniently located in the heart of the village and just stone's throw away from the Teifi Estuary. Tivy View is bursting with original features - parquet floors, stain glass windows and a cosy log burner for those chilly nights. This house is currently being restored, bringing all of the original features back to life. It sleeps up to 6 with 3 spacious bedrooms, the master bedroom has a touch of luxury with a roll top bath situated in the bedroom. Perfect for alfresco dining and cooking up 'the catch of the day', the enclosed patio area provides a sun trap during the summer months. A few things to note from last years guests: Winter - its an old house with original windows, its part of the character of the house. To make the living room nice and toasty the log burner is the best thing to use. Its duel fuel so I find a combination of coal and logs keep the heat constant. Summer - the window are original and many have now been painted to protect them. The house is bright and airy so I don't find this causes any issues. Upstairs the bathroom window does open as well as the Velux window leading up to the private top floor. I find is you open both of these its gets a nice airflow if you're lucky to be here during a heat wave. Guest can access two floors: The downstairs has a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast area. The dining room with seating for 6 and a cosy living room with plenty of seats and a log burner. Upstairs there is 3 bedrooms Twin room with two singles Double room with a double bed Master room with a double bed and roll top bath Family bathroom with a shower over the bath There is a further top floor which is currently closed off to guests. Its a project for later in the year where I will be able to offer more bedrooms, or a separate apartment for couples. I don’t live locally but you can always call me for tips on the local area or advice. Access to the house is via a key code, supplied before you arrive Take a scenic stroll into the village and enjoy its selection of traditional award winning gastro welsh pubs and restaurants, or take a step back in time and explore the ruins of the 12th century Historic abbey. The River Teifi is a haven for peace and tranquillity and is a natural playground for bird watchers, ramblers and water sport enthusiasts. Explore the Ceredigion Heritage coastline and discover the popular coastal resorts of New Quay and Aberaeron, encased in their picturesque fishing harbours where bottlenose dolphins and grey seals can be spotted on a clear day. Just a 30-minute drive away lies the quaint, historic city of St David's, featuring its magnificent 12th-century cathedral and medieval ruins of Bishops Palace. The charming market towns of Cardigan and Narbeth are within easy reach, as are historic sites and leisure attractions. The nearest pub and shop are 500 yards. Venture a little further and Cardigan has plenty of great bakeries and restaurants. Guest parking is outside the house. One on road and one off road All bedding is provided but please bring your own towels Recycling is very important in the Pembrokeshire. It’s a little more complicated that other areas and must be done correctly otherwise it won’t be collected. I don’t live locally so it’s important this is done otherwise it impacts the following guests. Instructions will be given in arrival. This house is currently being restored. This isn’t anything that will impact your stay however please be aware not everything is complete.
