Gîte La Grange de Jeanne, sauna & hot tub!

Un gite soigneusement réhabilité en 2019. Cette ancienne maison du XIXème siècle est située à 30 km de Limoges, à Rancon et s'entoure d'un beau jardin de 10 000 m². Sauna, jacuzzi, Fire pit, trampoline, balançoires et cabane pour les enfants! La maison dispose d’un grand salon avec cheminée à bois, cuisine ouverte et espace à manger, qui donne egalement sur la belle terrace, parfaitment abritée du vent. A historic building, with the charm of aged wood and stone, but lovingly restored with modern comforts. On one side, it's very close to the historic part of the charming little village of Rancon, just a few footsteps away from restaurants, art galleries and an organic grocery shop. On the other side, is a large private park and views across the hills and forests, with plenty of space to explore, play or ponder about the meaning of life. Enjoy the large garden and park of the enclosed property. Plenty of space for families with children. The sauna and jacuzzi are real benefits, even on colder days. There is plenty of space to park the car in the private property, or also on the public road just infront of the house. Within the village, you can walk around by foot, exploring some of the historic sites, the meandering Gartempe river, or the fields and forrsts of the surrounding area. We are generally available to assist you with your stay and related activities, living literally just a stone's throw away. Rancon is a calm and quiet little village but with a timeless charm that allows you to forget about the hustle and bustle of larger cities. While in terms of shops, the choice is limited, you do have a few art galleries with their resident artists to choose from, as well as small restaurants and a few commercial activities. Supermarkets and other shops are about 10 minutes drive away in Chateauponsac or in Bellac Best to have a car when you are in this part of rural France, as there is not much public transport to speak of. Two bicycles are available for short rides to the neighbouring villages. The sauna and hot tub are new recent installations open only to guests of La Grange de Jeanne. Both are heated traditionally with wood-fired stoves. They can be heated according to your schedule for a small supplement.
