Gite Kiwi, rural getaway in the French countryside

Gite Kiwi is a recently renovated one bedroom Gite set in a rural hamlet in the French countryside. We offer a home from home experience, it is a private Gite set within our family environment (we are nextdoor). We believe it is a relaxing and peaceful setting, a bit of a rural retreat! The Gite offers a perfect getaway for a couple or family of 4. It offers one large bedroom with a King size bed and two single mattresses on a raised platform, that we believe are perfect for children. Please note that the price covers a maximum of two adults and two children up to the age of 12. In any other case there will be an additional charge per person, per night which will be payable on arrival. Please message prior to booking for details. The Gite has it's own private patio area and private parking on the driveway. You will also have access to the rest of the front garden but that is shared with us (the hosts). We live next door so are usually readily available if required. Otherwise we leave you to enjoy your holiday! We are very happy to e contacted at anytime. The Gite is set within a family friendly environment, in a reasonable sized hamlet which includes a working farm. There are outdoor and indoor pools near by in Civray, 10 mins drive, along with river beaches and historical towns all within 20 mins to 30 mins drive. Beautiful Historical towns within 15 mins drive. Valle des Singes (Monkey Valley) is a 25 min drive from the Gite. Futuroscope is an hour away. There are plenty of walking and cycling routes to take advantage of the stunning countryside. This is a rural location so a car is required to access local restaurants, bars and shops but all can be reached with 10/15 mins. We think it is the perfect location to relax and enjoy nature. Our region is now subject to Tax De Séjour, which is included in the booking fee. Please note that the Jacuzzi will ONLY be available at an extra charge for heating / cleaning, payable on arrival. Please let us know in advance if you wish to use the Jacuzzi. Please be advised: If you book less than 48 hrs before check in we cannot guarantee that the hot tub will be warm enough. Please Note the Check in & Check Out timings these are in place to ensure we meet Covid cleaning protocol. Check in anytime from 16hrs Check out by 10hrs. We don't accept pets. We have an outdoor fire heater, we provide a portion of wood but after that we can provide more wood, at a cost of 5 euros per buddle. Please let us know prior to your arrival if you will require the cot bed, high chair, baby gate etc. Please could you inform us of your estimated arrival time so we can try to ensure our availability, as we prefer to greet guests on arrival & show you around!
