Located inside a walled garden the property provides a safe haven for families or couples in a quiet private environment in their own gite accommodation at the bottom of the property. With a pool on the property visitors can enjoy its private environment or visit the larger local community pool if company is desired. The property includes wifi, internet, its own barbecue facilities and outdoor and indoor dining facilities. Alet Les Bains sits in a valley in the south of France, 60 minutes from Perpignan beach, 90 minutes from Spain. With local village markets every day of the week fresh food is readily available. Located 15 minutes from Limoux the closest large town with multiple supermarkets shopping is easy. For those with a love of wine there is an abundance of local vineyards within a short drive. Over summer many have live entertainment or events that can make for a great day out. The owners family live in a property on site, any problems come visit. The private pool is shared with the owners family. with lots of friends around the village there are always people coming and going but the privacy of the gite allows guests to enjoy their own privacy when desired. 9th Century Benedictine monastery, built in ochre sandstone, the Abbey Cathedral of Our Lady of Alet, Village markets take place most days within a 30 minute drive of Alet. Limoux 15 minutes away has several large supermarkets and for those with a love of wine their is an abundance of local vineyards within a short drive. Alet is a village, so a car is advisable but rental cars can be picked up at Carcassonne airport or Toulouse when you fly in. Train and bus services run but as with most country towns they tend to be a bit irregular. Taxis are available. If booked in advance arrangements can be made to pick up or drop guests from the airport.
