Czech Switzerland Castle Apartment

A brand new spacious apartment in a historical building of a former spa in the centre of the beautiful town of Decin, but still in a very quiet area near the Decin Castle. A perfect starting point to explore the Czech and Saxon Switzerland NP. You could hardly find a better location for a holiday apartment in Decin. The unique 19th century spa building has been rebuilt into an apartment house with a specific old time atmosphere, but at the same time it provides its residents with the 21st century standard of living. The apartment itself is spacious, it has a large double bed and a comfortable pull-out sofa for two other guests, there's a fully equipped kitchen and a spacious bathroom. The house was renovated in 2014, so everything is brand new. There is also a spacious balcony, which you can enter directly from the apartment. You can just chill out here on a warm summer evening and admire the ducks and swans on the Castle Lake. There's a café on the ground floor of the building, where e.g. breakfast can be served to you. The apartment is on the 3rd floor, there's an elevator, of course, if you don't want to walk up the stairs. Guests have unlimited access to all the apartment facilities. There's a high speed wi-fi internet in the apartment, totally free to use. We meet our guests on their arrival and provide them with all the necessary information and we give them tips for their trips in Decin and the national park. If they need other assistance during their stay, their free to contact us anytime. Our family live in the village of Arnoltice, 9 km from Decin in the Czech Switzerland NP, where we provide homestay accommodation (for more information, see our second listing). The apartment house is just in the historical centre of Decin, underneath the magnificent Decin Castle and just few seconds away from the overwhelming castle park and gardens. As it is centrally located, you're always just short walk away from restaurants, supermarkets and other city life facilities. Decin has very good public transport, there are several bus lines going near the building, however, the most pleasant way to get somewhere is just to walk as Decin is not a really big city. If you come by car, at the apartment building there is a public car park, which is paid from 7:00 a.m. to 6 p.m on weekdays. It costs 20 CZK/hour. From 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. and at the weekend you can park here for free. However, free parking for 24 hours a day all week is possible about 100-200 metres from the apartment building in the streets around Zámecký rybník (Castle Lake). There is no private car park for our apartments only. It's a residential building, guests should always behave, so they don't disturb other people in the building.
