Rustic studio in idylic village

This cosy studio is in a converted farmhouse in Rohrbach - which is a farming village at the doorstep to Emmental. From here you start excursions to many scenic places or reach the cities Bern, Luzern, Basel or Zurich in 80min or less by train. The studio is nested in the attic of this converted farmhouse. The vintage beams and pitched ceiling give this place a unique and spacious character. The skylights fill the room with plenty of lights. Before leaving the room, always close the the skylights to avoid water in the studio during rain. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, oven, pots, coffeemaker, toaster, water kettle and tableware. DAB+ radio, cabel TV and unlimited hispeed Internet is available The studio is located in the attic of the house. From the main door, you go up two flights of stairs. The lights in the hallway are sensor controlled, they switch on automatically once you approach the area. There are two doors on top floor, your place is the one to the right. When arriving by car, please use the most left parking space, next to the apple tree. We are not living in the same village and offer self check-in/out. This gives our guest maximum flexibility to arrive and depart at a time of convenience. Certainly, we can be reached by message and call, and will be on site if preferred. Rohrbach is a very quite and safe village. The whole place is discovered easily by short walks. Go towards the church at the village center, you will find grocery store, bank, train station and a restaurant next to it. Post office was closed recently but an electronic counter can be found at the VOLG grocery store. There are two more restaurant and a coffee shop along the main road within 200 m from the church. Trains in either direction bring you to all destination around Switzerland. Check on the website of SBB for details.
