Villa Matildis - Double room "Rosa Rossa"

“Rosa Rossa” is one of the 5 rooms dedicated to the guests of Villa Matildis. The guest stays in a villa suitable for a boutique hotel and obtained from the recent renovation of a cottage built in the first half of the nineteenth century that combines the ancient and the modern. The villa overlooks the Emilian countryside, is organized with the formula of the Room and Breakfast and is characterized by rustic rooms furnished with refined elegance. The space of the “Rosa Rossa” room. "Rosa Rossa" is a 17 sq m double bedroom finely furnished with refined and prestigious furniture and located on the ground floor of Villa Matildis. The room is equipped with a heating and cooling system. It is also equipped with a TV and wi-fi system. Cleaning and rearrangement of the room are carried out daily. The bedroom floor is in Florentine terracotta treated with wax and the ceiling is still the original one from the 1800s with a vault of exposed stone tiles. The room has a finely finished luxury bathroom with all sanitary facilities and a shower with crystal box. The bathroom cladding is in travertine marble and the floor is in solid oak planks recovered and treated with wax. A majestic full-wall mirror completes the bathroom. The bathroom is made private and exclusive with the reservation, for one or two people, of the "Rosa rossa" room only. Furthermore, the "Rosa Rossa" room together with the "Mille Fiori" room and the bathroom described above, accessible from the hallway of the two rooms, form an independent 56 sq m real estate unit intended to accommodate 3 or 4 people. Therefore in case of simultaneous booking by the same Customer of the two rooms "Rosa Rossa" and "Mille Fiori", to satisfy the need of his family complex or his group of 3 or 4 people, said bathroom is shared by both rooms . All the rooms of Villa Matildis also enjoy common spaces dedicated to guests for their socialization, for reading and relaxing, for television viewing together with other guests and for being able to relax with card games, checkers, chess and board games put to them layout. There are numerous common areas that guests can use: 1- Reception of 25 sqm. It is dedicated to welcoming guests. 2- Living room of 60 sqm. The characteristic living room is reserved for guests for the consumption of breakfast in the seasons with untempered climate, for their socialization, for reading, for television viewing and for leisure. 3- Front porch of 80 sqm Villa Matildis has a large front porch adjacent to the living room and overlooking the garden of the villa. The porch is equipped with valuable chairs and tables and is equipped with large mechanized curtains for protection from the sun on the hottest days. Here breakfast is served on days with mild weather and the area is dedicated to the leisure and relaxation of guests. 4- Garden of 600 sqm Villa Matildis has a welcoming garden characterized by a well-kept lawn, with flowers, shrubs and plants of different essences and colors. The garden is equipped with chairs and some sun beds made available to guests free of charge. 5- Private parking of 200 square meters The Villa is completely fenced and in the courtyard area behind it there is an area intended for parking for guests' vehicles. On the municipal road on which the villa overlooks, there is always the possibility to park for free. 1- Free guided tour with tasting at the Matildis vinegar factory At the request of the guests, you can take a free guided tour of the vinegar cellar located in the basement of Villa Matildis, where over 10,000 liters of euphonic balsamic vinegar, Modena vinegar of excellent quality are aged and stored in 400 wooden barrels. The euphonic balsamic vinegar is produced by hand from the property of Villa Matildis with the use of only cooked grape must and the traditional decanting method. Guests can taste the vinegar and buy the elegant packages at discounted prices. 2- Free bicycle rental Two bicycles are made available to guests free of charge for pleasant excursions in the surrounding countryside, near rivers and streams, for pedaling along the numerous cycle paths in the area that allow you to reach and visit the centers of the municipalities of Modena, Vignola, Castelvetro, Sassuolo and numerous other municipalities, villages and hamlets. 3- Indication of trattorias and typical restaurants Modena's food and wine tradition is famous worldwide. Villa Matildis is located in the southern area of Modena at the base of the splendid hills of the Modena Apennines. It is located in the Municipality of Modena, in a small fraction of a thousand inhabitants called Portile, a strategic hub that is located just 6 km from the Modena Sud motorway exit and 8 km from the historic center of Modena. The Villa is therefore located in an urbanized, but very quiet area, where guests will be able, on the one hand, to enjoy the utmost tranquility during their stay and, on the other hand, to easily and quickly embark on the tourist routes best suited to their needs. In fact, only 2 km from the neighborhood, the city ring road winds, which routes traffic to all the main tourist routes such as the motor valley (Ferrari, Lamborghini, Pagani, etc.) or historical art (Pavarotti's house, historic center and related monuments, castles ) or food and wine. In the neighborhood, a few hundred meters from the villa, there are also the main services such as an oven, bar, tobacconist's, newsagent's pharmacy and several shops. The breakfast is of the international type with fresh local sweet and savory products, with seasonal fruit and hot and cold drinks. Depending on the climate, breakfast is consumed in the characteristic rustic and elegant 60 sqm living room reserved for guests or outdoors in the adjacent splendid 80 sqm protected porch overlooking the Villa’s Matildis garden. The breakfast is very abundant and varied and is rich in typical local products such as the "tigelle" and the numerous cold cuts of the area. The breakfast service is self-service with table service for hot drinks. Breakfast, available and optional, is not included in the price of the room or accommodation and is subject to a fee.
