Retreat Center - Oso Verde Ranch House and Studio

A Natural Paradise minutes away from Mesa Verde! Any retreats, weddings or special events will require contacting us and making additional arrangements. This listing provides the main house and the garage studio. The house has two main bedrooms, a loft with two beds and a pull-out couch. The studio has a Murphy bed. There are patios with grills at both places. The grounds consist of 40 acres of an absolute natural paradise on the Mancos River and with a beautiful, natural pond. You will have the opportunity to site elk, deer, fox, eagles, herons, song birds, turkeys and main other wild critters. The air is clean, and the stars are bright. It's the perfect place to reconnect with nature and to access all that the area offers. The entrance to Mesa Verde is 10 minutes away, and downtown Mancos is only a couple minutes by car. Telluride is about 1.5 hours and boasts world-class skiing. We also have amazing mountain biking at Phil's World in Cortez, as well as fantastic trails in Durango. The sky is the limit for adventures in the Southwest! You will have access to the whole place. We live in Durango, but we are available by phone. I may stop by to water flowers. Mancos is a charming rural community with an eclectic community of artists, cowboys and small families. It lies literally in the hub of the Southwest. You will need your own vehicle to get around.
