Serra da Estrela, Casa do Limoeiro 1

When you rent the Casa do Limoeiro 1, you are renting the whole place just for you and ensure total privacy, you also has access to the garden and barbecue outside (shared). Come and enjoy the quiet mountain environment! The Casas do Limoeiro are simply decorated, based on rural life and the recovery and reuse of materials and objects, so you can find all kinds of utensils, each adorning others gained a new life. You can access the common courtyard and the main garden of the house. We also have a nice vegetable garden and a chicken coop! The house is set in a complex of two more houses, one private and the other tourist. We do not live in the building, but during your stay we are available to answer any questions and help you plan the days spent in Valezim showing the main interest points. Due to Covid-19, we are taking extra care to disinfect surfaces often touched between bookings. Valezim is a mountain village, belonging to the municipality of Seia, with about 300 inhabitants and is part of the Natural Park of Serra da Estrela. Here you can enjoy several hiking trails, mountain bike trail, public swimming pool (open only in summer) and taste the delicacies of Serra da Estrela. There are two small grocery stores in the village where you can perform basic shopping. The baker horn when passing through the village! buy the "broa of Loriga," typical bread of the region. Nearby there is free public parking. We do not have room service, so if you need to change sheets or towels we ask you to let us know. The Pool that comes in the photos does not belong to the property but to the village, at an additional cost (2€ +10Y).
