The biggest thing for the location is the walking distance access to Kyren the fantastic medieval show which is an outdoor epic tale of England this has proved to be very popular along with viewing tower in the marketplace and Bishop Auckland Castle. There are some very popular tea shops in the marketplace and some very nice places to eat on an evening just a very short drive away. There is plenty of walking to be done , but also the bus station is very close to get you to the local retail park which has lots of shops and places to eat and drink. Buses to Darlington, Durham city. the train station is within walking distance too so plenty of options for your stay. There is 1 parking space on site
