Vaccinated guests with Booster only. All CDC guidelines carefully followed. I am a 72 year old who personally cleans and updates all recommendations for all our safety. Drake neighborhood Tudor. Large private sunny room. South & West facing windows. Large comfy couch. big closet WiFi Kitchen is fully outfitted. Compost & Recycling. Vegetable garden onsite while season. Ethnic markets near by for speciality foods. uber & lyft available. Bus stop 1 block. There are usually 2 rooms for your choice. Each room is somewhat different. The house has window air conditioning to adjust for your comfort. This is a big, solid quiet house. I let each room rest for a couple of days before making the bed with fresh sheets & cleaning. The entire main floor which includes a complete kitchen, basic spices etc. for cooking, formal dining room, out door grill, lawn furniture, laundry and garden veggies in season I am avaliable to guests on a variable schedule. I am retired so my schedule particularly recently is very light. The Drake Neighborhood is directly south of the Drake University campus. Also minutes from the Ingersoll Corridor with many restaurants, bars, coffee shops & grocery & pharmacies. Very close to DMU, Unity Point Medical Center, Mercy One and I-235 . There is cab service, uber & Lyft. Bus lines, within 2 blocks. Coffee restaurants, shopping are within walking distance. I am a casual person, offering a laid back space. This home was built in 1920 and i am often working on the house & gardens. This is a wonderful old urban neighborhood with a mix of housing styles, old and young residence.
