Is a small town and you can discover the place walking, not needing to take a car. All the streets are in cobblestones which makes your walk even more enjoyable. There is plenty of restaurants and cafe/bar where you can enjoy the beautiful landscape. Also, you can visit the different "Quintas" where you can enjoy the local wine and also the Port Wine. You can do boat trips in the river as steam train trips along the river. Douro River is 8 minute away from the apartment, while Pinhão is 15km away and Peso da Régua 29km.
