Being only 10 minutes drive from King Shaka (Durban) International Airport makes it an ideal business or traveler stopover or for a relaxed vacation. The space is an open plan studio apartment with a full kitchen, seating area, sleeping recess and en suite bathroom. Sliding doors open onto the private garden patio where you can sit under the large shady Fig tree and braai on an open fire should you wish. The swimming pool area is available for use by arrangement, particularly if you are staying for a longer period on holiday. La Mercy is a traditional coastal residential area with friendly neighbors. Taxi or Uber transport is the only other transport available other than your own vehicle. The guest suite is completely private with its own entrance and parking. The parking is behind access controlled gates right next to the suite so easy access. You can come and go as you like without interfering with anyone else on the property. However, should you need help with anything there is always someone close by. Enjoy a beach front party atmosphere at the Beach Bums Bar or fine dining in some of the finest restaurants on the East Coast in Umdloti or a classic Indian Curry at the Sea Belle Restaurant (Nelson Mandela liked their curries), it is all just a few minutes’ drive away. For active guests there are a host of activities that can be enjoyed close by. Stand Up Surfing and kite boarding on the lagoon below, spectacular local surf breaks, great fishing and mountain biking on local cane tracks ……all right at your doorstep.
