Located In the middle of “Crete senesi” area, it is situated in a really strategic place: with a very short trip, it is possible to reach Siena and its beautiful lands, and four landmarks (Pienza, S.Gimignano, Val d’Orcia and Montalcino) which have been declared World Heritage by UNESCO. Casanova di Lucignano has three apartments – Rosmarino, Lavanda and Maggiorana – all completely restored and charmly furnished . They all contain a bedroom (with the possibility to add a little bed for kids), a bathroom and a living room with an attached kitchen. All apartments also have a fireplace and a color TV; free Wi-fi Internet access is available for guests. The farmhouse does not have a restaurant service, but the kitchen of each apartment is fully equipped (stove and sink, microwave, fridge and freezer, coffee machine, toaster); you could feel like at your own home, buying the delicious Tuscan specialities in the center of the village, and enjoying a traditional Italian meal! Free Wi-fi Internet access is available for guests, as well as a private parking, a barbecue, a swimming pool surrounded by a big garden and a free laundry service. “Maggiorana“ is the first-floor apartment, which is accessed through a beautiful stone staircase and overlooks a lovely verandah where you can relax watching the sunset behind the hills. Guests enjoy a private apartment with kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, firelace, and share with the others external spaces, garden, swimming pool, BBQ, laundry, gazebo, tables, chairs, parking. I live in the farmhouse with my cats Felicino and Ophelia, when I'm not working I enjoy the swimming pool too and not infrequently I indulge in aperitifs and a chat with the guests. It is a family business so you will surely know my parents Bruno and Vera and my brother Enrico who do not live here but help me with the company and the maintenance of the garden. The property is located on the edge of the village, and the neighborhood is very quiet as the whole area. On foot you can reach the tennis courts and various shops. If you’re feeling energetic and want to escape the relaxing surroundings of the appartment, then “Crete Senesi” area offers many different opportunities for physical activity. From trekking excursions to horseback riding, you can explore the woods and hills all around the farm.
