Carpinone - Monte

All the guests of this vacation home will have access to the external area of the house. The guests will have access to the entire house which is located in the residential area of Carpinone. It is placed on a little hill in front of the medieval castle which will gift you with a wonderful view on the entire valley. The village and all the main services (train station included) can be reached on foot. It is a quiet and private place, perfect for those who need a bit of coolness during the hottest days. The guests will have access to the external areas of the house, terraces included Carpinone is placed in a strategic geographical position which will give you the possibility to reach places of historical and archaeological interest in no longer than 30 minutes: Pietrabbondante’s Samnite’s Theatre, the Pontificia Fonderia Marinelli of Agnone, Montedimezzo’s natural reserve, the Paleolithic’s Museum of Isernia, the Altilia’s archaeological site of Sepino, Castel San Vincenzo’s Abbey, the Little Basilica of Our Lady of Sorrows of Castelpetroso. In just 40 minutes you can reach some wintry touristic destinations: Roccaraso, Rivisondoli, Pescocostanzo, Campitello Matese and Capracotta. During summer, you can visit some wonderful natural destinations as Colle dell’orso and Monte dei Santi which can be reached by foot or bike. You can also reach by car the National Park of Latium, Abruzzo and Molise, Barrea, Opi, Alfedena. Take it easy and visit Carpinone’s historical quarter or the external area of Caldora’s castle. At sunrise and sunset, reach the top of “il Monte”, which is accessible on foot in 10/15 minutes, and enjoy the view on: the Carpino’s valley, from the Mainarde (with the Biferno’s valley and the Little Basilica of Our Lady of Sorrows) to the Matese. Take some pictures and enjoy the result! From your accomodation, you can reach the bus stop for Isernia or the train station which will lead you to Campobasso, Isernia, Rome, Caserta (and Caserta’s palace), Naples. In some specific days you can ride on a special train, the Italian Transiberiana of the historical train station Carpinone-Sulmona. With your car, and in no longer than an hour, you can easily reach from Carpinone the high-speed railway of Naples-Afragola or the airport of Naples-Capodichino. In 90 minutes you can reach the airport of Pescara. After the first guest, you will have to pay 25 euros for each extra guests. If you need it, a single bed will be added in each room. In order to reach the house, you will have to climb some steps.
