The surrounding fields, woodland, quiet country lanes and canals are perfect for walking or cycling, and it is just 30 minutes to the historic Roman town of Chester, with Manchester and Liverpool each well within an hour's drive or train ride. You are also within walking distance of Hartford's range of pubs and restaurants. You will be staying in the 'morning room' suite of our 1913 Edwardian farmhouse. Your spacious dual-aspect Queensize suite overlooks the front lawn and the east-facing side-garden, and enjoys private and secure 24-hour access. It has a seating area with digital television, WiFi, sofas, coffee table, chest-of-drawers, and working gas fireplace. There are tea-and-coffee-making facilities, and a deliciously creative vegetarian breakfast menu will be served at the dining table (vegan options available). Across the private entry hall is a private en-suite bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. There is ample off-street parking, and a lockable bike shed. The room is set up for 2, but the fold-out sofa can be organised if required. There is also plenty of room so larger groups may be organised upon request. There is also the opportunity to book a professional on-site NO HANDS® Massage in our yurt during your stay. For the more intrepid visitor we are well-situated for day-trips to the picturesque landscapes of North Wales, Snowdonia and the Peak District. We look forward to welcoming you in person! You have access to a secluded east-facing side-garden with lawn table and chairs. You are also welcome to wander further afield through our apple orchard, fields and ancient semi-natural woodland. We are resident in the rest of the house and will be happy to help with any questions you may have. Wonderful walks through local woodland (both private and public) and along the canals. A range of pubs and restaurants within walking distance. We are also well-situated for day-trips to Chester, Oulton Park racetrack, Delamere Forest, and the picturesque landscapes of North Wales, Snowdonia and the Peak District. We are 30 minutes from Manchester Airport (at M56 J10 take the exit for the a49 south). Within walking distance of Greenbank and Hartford train stations (access to Manchester, Liverpool, Chester, Crewe, and Birmingham). Please remove shoes in the entry hall.
