A Room at 1870's Victorian Villa "Sennen House"
After spending 5 years running one of Donegal's Highest rated Bed & Breakfasts, with a score of 9.9 for 4 of the 5 years, we have moved to Warrenpoint bringing our definition of hospitality to the Northeast. The house we have bought is absolutely gorgeous. Primarily an 1870 Victorian Villa, the original house and stables dates back to about 1820. Situated on the shore of Carlingford Lough the views are amazing, the house itself has high ceilings and lots of the original features still present. We offer a charming and personal alternative to your conventional guesthouse or hotel. Sennen House has serenity, comfort, intimacy, grandeur and romance with two professionally trained hotel managers attending to your every need. We want you to enjoy the house, make yourself at home, help yourself to a drink in our Honesty Bar, play some pool and arise refreshed to a super cooked to order breakfast at what we consider very reasonable rates for such a property in this location. The house has wonderful gardens to enjoy while offering two outdoor areas for enjoying the view. The Rooms are large with 12ft (3.7m) ceilings and furnished with antiques and exceptional pieces of tasteful appointed furniture and linens. Our previous house had en-suites for every bedroom so this will be a little different for us as none of the six bedrooms has an en-suite. Something ware already working on. There is a full bathroom, separate shower room with toilet and then an extra toilet downstairs so there wont be a queue. Guests will have their own private bathroom, it just wont be en-suite. (for now) Guests can enjoy all pats of the house and gardens etc. As this is our home, we will be happy to engage fully with guests. As a previous hotelier, I also respect that some guests will want to use the house as a place to stay and will spent a lot of their time visiting the area. Mature, Salubrious, Residential area in Warrenpoint.
