This luxury 17th Century Fishermans cottage is located in the heart of Rhos on Sea on the Promenade opposite the Harbour and Beach. Renovated with care, with only the best comforts in mind. Retaining a traditional feel yet complimented by contemporary modern furnishings. Located on the North Wales coast with picturesque sea views, and a spacious private garden area at the rear, ideal for dining on a summer’s evening. The Perfect Location for a family holiday, or to simply relax and unwind. As you arrive in Rhos on Sea, you are greeted by stunning views over the beach. The cottage is located directly on the promenade opposite the beach and harbour. Private off-road parking adds to the convenience of the property. There is a useful porch area at the front of the cottage, ideal for storing drying boots, walking gear and outdoor equipment, which leads into a spacious yet cosy living area, with two comfortable leather sofas to accommodate the whole family. Featuring a traditional stone fireplace, and cosy electric log burning stove. Modern amenities include a 50” flat screen smart TV and WIFI. Leading up into the extended, recently refurbished modern kitchen at the rear, with french doors opening out to a sun blazed terrace and garden. The kitchen features an integrated refridgerator/freezer, washing machine for your leasure, and a dishwasher for ease during your stay. An oak dining table sits spaciously in the kitchen, accommodating up to four guests, with comfortable space for a high chair(provided on request). Upstairs you will face the bright white modern bathroom, incorporating an over the bath shower, and modern sink basin. (The stairs feature pull-out stair gates at the bottom and top for your children's safety) The bright and airy master bedroom sits with the perfect view of the promenade of Rhos on Sea, with a stunning view scoping round the coast of North Wales, a truly magnificent view to wake up to with the sun rising over the coastline. A Kingsize bed sits comfortably opposite the window for you to make the most of the scenery, with classic cream luxury furnishings. The twin room located at the rear of the property features a traditional yet modern feel, with classic cream furnishings and warm orange decor. Twin beds can be used separately or pushed close together for a more intimate feel, making it perfect for every occasion, there is also a 40" flat screen for your entertainment. Available for local advice, questions and any queries regarding your stay 24 hours of the day. Explore the local area down an idyllic walk to the beaches of Colwyn Bay, with stops along the way for a coffee or a quick bite to eat. This cottage is set in an excellent walking region, with countryside, beach, and simply breathtaking views all within a 5 mile radius. Included are some pictures of the local beaches of Rhos on Sea, and Colwyn Bay, simply a five minute walk up the promenade, which also features a bike lane. The Beaches of Colwyn Bay are dog friendly, Dogs are welcome to the Swn Y Mor Cottage upon request. The larger victorian town of Llandudno is no more than a ten minute drive away, visit the main street full of shops, cafes, and bars. Take a walk along the Promenade and follow the famous Alice in Wonderland trail. The pier of Llandudno is filled with arcades, and fun activities for children, with magnificent views of Great Orme. Great Orme is a fantastic day out, see breathtaking views of the surrounding coasts, grab an ice cream, take a ride on the cable cars to really capture the views, and visit the Old age Bronze Mines. The traditional wooden Ski-Lodge sits alongside Great Orme, and is the perfect spot for a hot chocolate on a cold evening, with an outdoor ski slope and toboggan run. Not far from Llandudno you can visit the historic town of Conwy, known for it’s Large castle and walls that surround the small harbour side village, a great spot for a walk along the harbour, some fresh seafood, and visit the smallest house in Great Britain. There are plenty of indoor and outdoor activities within North Wales suitable for all ages, some great locations to research and visit locally are, Welsh Mountain Zoo, Llandudno Paddling Pool, Surf Snowdonia, Snowdonia National Park, Zip World, The Dutch Pancake House in Rowen and Water Gardens, Bodafon Farm, Snowdonia Mountain Railway, Betwys Coed, Conwy Castle, and much more. Why not take a boat ride out to Puffin Island from the Isle of Anglesey and explore all that Anglesey as to offer, including some of the most beautiful views in North Wales. Bus stop located opposite and next to the property to take you to the nearby towns of Llandudno, and Colwyn Bay, through to Rhyl. Local Taxi rank within a two minute walk. Both cottages are finished to a high standard to ensure the most pleasant stay. Should you require both cottages for your friends or family's stay, there is an inter-connecting dividing gate between the two rear patio areas.
