THE GETAWAY IS WALKING DISTANCE TO THE GP TRACK Island Getaway is a Cedar House that was built in the 80's. The open plan creates a homely log cabin feel with views of the bay. It has the capability of accommodating up to 2 families &is centrally located on the Island. Although a duplex it has its very own secure entrance, living areas & kitchen. Brewery/Restaurants & to keep the kids entertained the Koala & Wildlife Parks, AmazeNThings, Penguin Parade, Surf beaches & a 7min drive to Cowes. Island Getaway is situated in a quiet & serene part of the island & mostly occupied by our friendly & relaxed locals The house is capable of accommodating up to 2 families please note if you look at the photos the 2nd bedroom will be ideal for 5 kids . because the house can sleep 10 people and i fold out bed in the cupboard in bedroom 1 at a very reasonable per night rate for the budget conscious. The open plan living area leads out to a 180 degree gated balcony, equipped with a large BBQ, tables & chairs, a hammock & stunning view out to the bay. Island Getaway Is conveniently located within walking distance to the Island's GP Circuit Brewery/Restaurants & to keep the kids entertained the Koala & Wildlife Parks,. AmazeNThings, Penguin Parade, Mini Golf & Surf beaches only a moments walk from the house. Cowes is also only a short 7min drive or bus ride (bus stop very close). Guest have access to all areas with the exceptions of: - The Garage located near the Guest entrance - The backyard - The unit downstairs and it's courtyard - The back door which leads onto the backyard decking is to only be used in Emergencies Guests can contact Greg (Owner) on (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) The house is located WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE G P . the house is in Wimbledon Heights , occupied mainly by relaxed and friendly locals. A park and play ground close by. and center to all parts of the island so you can get around the traffic using other roads ONLY WALKING DISTANCE TO THE G P . TRACK The bus stop is just around the corner were you can catch the shuttle bus to Cowes and other areas of the island. Our local South Coast bus will get you into Cowes or as far as Wonthaggi. The v/line bus can be caught from the Island to Melbourne or into Cowes. On request & depending on availability a lift to Cowes or other locations can be organised with Greg (a fee will apply dependent on distance etc). 1. Please leave the house as tidy as you found it. 2. Please place dirty linen in laundry. 3. Please place rubbish in the appropriate bins located downstairs near the front gate or they won't take it away until we sort the rubbish . 4. we have to charge a extra $20 to the cleaning because of all the extra work the cleaners have to do to comply to the virus . 5. please be respectful at night after (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) noise is a lot louder at night and people have work .
