Luxury Apartment with River Exe Views

The Annex is a luxury apartment in the beautiful Exe Estuary village of Exton. It has breath-taking views across the river Exe to the foothills of Dartmoor. It consists of a fully fitted kitchen/diner with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave; a large bright lounge, large flat screen TV with Sky TV (including Sky sports); an en-suite bedroom with 5ft queen bed and TV with Sky package; an en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. All towels and bedding are included. Flexibility is the Key - we always try to be flexible and The Annex also offers flexible accommodation. The Annex is a self-contained and private apartment with its own entry gate and front door. A key safe to provides a totally flexible check-in experience for our guests. We always respect our guest's privacy so we usually make a quick visit to ensure they have everything they need and thereafter if they need any assistance, we are usually next door or available by phone. We think that The Annex is ideally suited to 2 adults who prefer more space than a hotel room can provide and the flexibility offered by self-catering facilities along with separate living and sleeping accommodation. . The kitchen/diner is also large and, along with a fully fitted and equipped kitchen, it can comfortably seat four adults for meals. Our guests will have complete access to The Annex including all rooms, the patio area, sun deck, shed, bikes and BBQ area. There is ample free parking for two cars or larger vehicles. Carol and I live next door so we are usually around if required. If we're out we are usually contactable by phone. Staying at The Annex means that you can see a lot of Devon, rather than just a little of it. Despite its country location, it is just a short walk (an even shorter cycle) from the local pub/restaurant, train station, bus stop and The Exe Estuary Trail. The trail is a purpose-built track which follows the route of the River Exe and the Exeter Shipping Canal. It is flat, safe and easy to navigate and the views are stunning. We provide two complimentary bikes to give you the opportunity to explore the Exe Estuary Trail. Cycle, walk, take the train or bus and see as much of Devon as your time permits. Exeter, Devon’s historic capital, is a 40-minute cycle away or twenty minutes by train. Exmouth, which has the longest beach in Devon, is also 30-minutes away by bike and 15 minutes by train. Fifteen minutes cycling (5 minutes by train) in either direction brings you to Lympstone or Topsham. Lympstone is a characterful estuary fishing village and Topsham is a small town with historic Dutch trading links. Alternatively, relax on the sun deck and watch the world go by while sipping a glass of wine! The Annex's unique location means that it feels like you are in the countryside and yet you are very close to various amenities and the towns and villages of the Exe Estuary. Exton station is a 10-minute stroll away as is our loca pub. The Exe Estuary trail is a 4-minute cycle away giving access to 26 miles of cycle routes. The Annex comes with two complimentary bikes.
