Pristine Oasis with Private Bath
Our studio space (250 sq ft) is separate from the main house and located on the outskirts of Greenfield MA. The location provides easy access to downtown, restaurants, shopping areas and Interstate 91. Modern decor, tiled artsy bathroom and sweeping views of Berkshire foothills make this a great choice for foliage season, summer recreation and choice winter skiing. Our house is 90 miles west of Boston, 60 miles north of Hartford and a 3-hour drive from the Canadian border. Walk-in shower, 32 inch TV with Chromecast, new high-speed WiFi installed 9/22 (Website hidden by Airbnb) refrigerator, microwave, coffee/espresso/Keurig and lots of nice details in this living space. Full climate control with heating & cooling mini-split. The guest house does not have a full kitchen so guests can bring food to be stored in the refrigerator & prepared in the microwave. There are also many local eatery options for take-out & dining. The guest suite is a studio with a queen bed & private bath. There is a small refrigerator, coffee & espresso maker, microwave and 32 inch TV w basic cable and Chromecast. Under current pandemic guidelines, we no longer offer use of the full kitchen in the main house. There are many close-by dining and take-out eateries. We're an active retired couple who are around to provide details, activity suggestions, and other tidbits to make your stay more enjoyable. We don't expect to socialize with our guests, but will respond quickly to your questions via this app. During the pandemic, we've signed on to the enhanced Cleaning Protocol so our guests know we have followed a strict sanitation process based on the latest CDC guidelines. Our house is located in the rural section of Greenfield, about a mile from bucolic Greenfield Community College, the host of the annual Green River Festival. You need a car to stay in this location -- there is no public transportation or Uber service. Take a bike path along the Green River into downtown or drive 50 miles west on Route 2 through the Berkshires to visit the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (Mass MOCA). Take an Amtrack train South to other destinations. We're a 20-minute drive from Amherst and Northampton. You will need a car or arrange travel while you are in the area. Public transportation is limited. For great outdoor recreation, we are located 20 minutes from Berkshire East (skiing, mountain biking, white water rafting, hiking, zip-lining & more) and one hour from two top skiing resorts in Vermont --Okemo and Mount Snow.
