This gorgeous in-town home is the perfect refuge after a day on the Wild Atlantic Way. Spacious living and dining areas with a cozy fireplace, exposed stone walls, 3 bedrooms (one ensuite) and 2 full baths upstairs and everything convenience you need for a peaceful stay. Walkable to everything in SligoTown, and adjacent to the Bus Station for further travel. Enjoy Donaghy's Bar across the street when you arrive, and know that you'll enjoy coming "home" each day! The building dates back to 1886 and a Victorian era listed and protected structure. It was built of limestone, and the 2 foot thick walls are impressive for any century. The National Inventory of Architectural Heritage says "This decorative house is part of a distinctive group which lend contrast, variety and appeal to the street. Original roof trims, windows, canopied entrance and details such as the sill guards and railings all contribute to the appeal." WE say that 3 comfortable bedrooms, 2 baths, a cozy fireplace and window seats to curl up in make this a perfect refuge at the end of a day of touring the area. The entire home is available for you and your travelling companions We look forward to arranging your arrival, answering any questions you may have, and helping plan your stay! Once you’re settled, we are available by phone for anything you may need. The Sligo bus and train stations are within steps of the front door, and the North/South N4 is immediately adjacent. The N15 and N16 are also easily accessible, allowing access to the entire Wild Atlantic Way of Ireland, in addition to the Midlands. Coming from Dublin? The N4 is a direct route. Sligo is a walkable city, but there is also parking on the street in front of the building which is free from 6pm to 8am each day. During the day it is metered - or guests may park for free in the Lidl parking lot adjacent. We are committed to an extensive cleaning protocol that follows CDC guidelines. Please be patient if we must adhere to check in and check out times - we want to ensure the home is as safe and as clean as you deserve!
