Apartment Central Knin

Apartman Central is a big (70 sqm) apartment in our family home built in the 1970s. It contains retro furniture, so you can experience a middle class apartment of the 1980s socialist Yugoslavia. There is private parking on the property, free wi-fi, and air conditioning. The apartment is located very close to the centre of Knin, in short distance of main square, the market, train and bus station, and within walking distance of the Knin fortress and the Krka river. The apartment was decorated by my parents-in-law in the 1980s, and still contains much of the original furniture with some modern improvements, like wi-fi and air conditioning. The bedroom has a large double bed, while the living room contains a couch and a chair that can fold out to sleep one each. The balcony can be accessed from both the bedroom and the living room, and has a couple of chairs and a table to enjoy the view. There is a full kitchen for the use of guests. Guests will have full access of the whole first floor apartment and the communal stairs. We live on the ground floor, and guests are welcome to knock for a chat. If we are not in, we are reachable by phone or by message and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Feel free to ask us about the local area, or for suggestions for day trips! The house is across the road from the new church - Crkva Gospe Velikog Hrvatskog Krsnog Zavjeta - and on the main road, so there is inevitable noise from the church bells and traffic. Due to the all-night bakery next door, the neighbourhood can be lively on the weekends. Nearby, there are a couple of supermarkets and because Knin is small, nothing is very far away. The market is a few minutes away, and it's a short walk to the river Krka or to the fortress. We are a 45 minute drive away from the Krka National park, and an hour drive from the Adriatic Sea. It is a good location as a base to explore the local area. There is parking on site for two cars. The bus station and the train station are about a 1km walk away from the apartment. If you require extra pillows or blankets, if anything is missing in the kitchen or you wish for any cleaning supplies, please let us know and we will do our best to fix it. Bicycles can be stored in the stairway, or in the garage by request.
