Guest House Mountain Retreat

The perfect place to getaway or to “work at home” away from home in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, minutes away from Jackson and Sutter Creek. You can relax and enjoy the beautiful views of the valley in your own 1150 sq. foot 2-bedroom guest house complete with a full kitchen, living room with a wood stove fireplace, smart TV, WiFi, desk, private bath and deck with a grill. Relax by the private pool during the summer months. You will be surrounded by nature, peace & quiet. The listed per night price on the calendar is for 2 guests. There is a $10.00 per night per person charge for more than 2 guests up to 4 adults maximum. I do make an exception for a single family that has more than 2 young children. I have a blow up bed available. The house is dog friendly. Please review the dog policies and understand that there is a $20 per day per dog (limit 2) additional fee. The house was been newly renovated last year with a completely new bathroom, freshly painted kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom walls and all new wood floors. We have your health and well-being in mind at our mountain retreat cottage. Our luxurious, ultra-comfortable beds meet rigorous standards that minimize off-gassing. We love dogs, but request that you agree to the dog policies. You will receive a message with the dog policies and be asked to message back that you agree to the terms. We have coffee, tea and fresh fruit available. We also have 100% Virgin olive oil, organic sugar, salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder, and a multi purpose seasoning for your use. There is butter, half & half, organic eggs, and yogurt in the refrigerator. If you'd like us to stock the refrigerator or pantry with additional items before you arrive, we're happy to purchase them for the additional charge. We're also happy to make arrangements for a special occasion (chilled champagne? special flowers?)--just let us know. The pool is available for your private enjoyment during the summer months. It is heated by the sun so the temperature of the water is dependent on the weather. There is also a grill on the private deck overlooking the valley. If you enjoy getting pampered you can enjoy an in-house massage. (Advance appointment needed). We want this to be the perfect get-away for you surrounded by nature in cozy comfort. You can relax enjoying the entire 1150 sq ft guest house with 2 bedrooms and 2 private decks, one with a beautiful view of the valley. During the summer months the private pool is also available for your enjoyment. During the colder months enjoy the wood stove fireplace. We have wood available. I give my guests their privacy, but am available when needed. We live in a quiet neighborhood with all properties being 5 acres. Once you settle in, the only homes you see are across the valley in the distance. There is a taxi service available. Our property is on 5 acres in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. You will feel miles away from the cities yet they are only minutes away. You will be surrounded by nature with all our wild pets. Beautiful birds, deer, quail and more share our property. It is quiet and serene.
