Apartment Kranj is on the top floor of a 3 - apartment building, 80 m2, has a large terrace overlooking - on the south, sunny side of the building. It offers free WI-FI, AC, one parking space - always available. Everything in the apartment can be used free of charge. The bright apartment is perfect for individuals, couples, friends, families, and business travelers. You must show your ID, the tourist tax is NOT included in the price and must be paid when you arrive. Slippers are in the apartment, walking in shoes around the apartment is not allowed. This is a non-smoking apartment. You can smoke on the terrace - there is an ashtray on the terrace. The large terrace on the south side of the apartment is equipped with a seating area for 4 people, a large parasol, and is perfect for enjoying the beautiful view, for a chat, or for a cup of tea or coffee, or for a breakfast. For rainy days, we have a box of games, puzzles, ..... ready in our apartment. For sunny days, the terrace is more than suitable for sunbathing and lazing, and with a view of the hills and the city of Kranj. There is a bus stop near the apartment, many people use a bicycle to access the city, which is 7 minutes away by bike. If you come to us with your own transport, there is one marked parking space next to the apartment, which is always available. We are available at any time to contact by phone or email. Struževo is a safe neighborhood, so don’t hesitate to take a walk. It is also a quiet residential area. 300 m by road from our apartment you will reach the river, Sava. 300 m from the apartment is a forest, unspoiled nature, you can walk along a quiet field path. 5 minutes from the apartment is a forest path to the old town of Kranj. A small shop is located 15 m away from the apartment, there is also a local butcher, and a shop with delicacies from local producers is 50 m away. Easy walk to the supermarket - 400 m and to the medieval town of Kranj - 20 min. In our neighborhood we have a pizzeria, a few bars, a supermarket, a bank, a gas station - open 24/7, there is a health center with a pharmacy nearby. The highway is 2 km away. Main Slovenian International Airport, Jože Pučnik - Ljubljana, is 9 km away. Kranj is the center of the Slovenian Alps and a great base for taking a few days' rests. Our place is in the center of Slovenija if you want to visit the mountains or the capital city. 15 min walk from the apartment is the main bus station and 20 min to the railway station. In Kranj, we have many bike tracks. The famous castle Brdo with a golf playground is 3 km from us. Do you like swimming, even in the wintertime? Kranj has a huge swimming tradition and there is (a 15-minute walk away) a 50-meter swimming pool hall. Very cheap ticket. Apartment Kranj is perfect as a base to explore Slovenia. With a car you will reach: - in 15 min: Škofja Loka, Tržič, Kamnik, Radovljica; - in 25 min: Bled, Vintgar Gorge, capitol city Ljubljana, ski resort Krvavec and Stari vrh; - in 1-hour: ski jumping center Planica, ski resorts Kranjska Gora, Vogel, Slovenian coast; - in 2 hours: Maribor, Ptuj, and Soča valley. Our apartment is located in central Slovenia, from where you can see the UNESCO World, Heritage List: - half an hour - Ljubljana Marshes; - one hour - Idrija; - an hour and a half: Krokar forest reserve; - two hours: Škocjan Cave, Snežnik forest reserve. Perfect as a base to explore the countries around, they can be reached: - in 2 hours: Italy - Trieste, Croatia - Zagreb; - in 3 hours: Italy - Venice, Austria - Salzburg, Croatia - Plitvice lakes; - in 4 hours: Hungary - Budapest, Austria - Vienna, Germany - Munich You can use everything that is in the flat for free.
