It's just minutes from The Wild Turkey Distillery, The Kentucky River and the Lexington Airport. The house is spacious yet cozy, with 12 foot ceilings, and elaborate Chandeliers, and seating areas throughout. There are 9 Fireplaces with custom mantles, each a work of Art! A Gallery of Equine Artistry, mostly depicting your Hosts own Horses adorning the walls. Large Flat screens in all living quarters and in the fully appointed Den. There is a small Gym and a deck that leads directly out to an in ground pool in the backyard, as well as a large wraparound, streetside Veranda replete with grand Columns, Lighting, impressive Historical Signage, Rocking Chairs, Rose Gardens and Statuary. Upper deck also with Rocking Chairs, is an ideal spot for Smokers if needed. There is a entry parlor of the grand Foyer with a mini bar, a full Kitchen with an Island and stools, a BBQ Grill poolside, and an elegant Dining Room adorned with Trophies, Crystal and China that seats 12. Enjoy the Game Room featuring an elegant Billiard Table, eclectic and free Jukebox, Slot Machines, aTrivia Game, and a Mahogony Bar in the entrance Hall for unwinding and congregating after touring the Bourbon Trail, Antiquing, Shopping or a day at the Racetrack or the surrounding Horse Farms! The upper level and lower level verandas and furniture are for use. All Main Rooms are Open for enjoyment including Foyers, Game, Dining, Den, Kitchens and Tea Rooms. Upstairs, there is an impressive Master Bedroom with a King Bed and Bath, abutting a lovely Feminine style Queen Room, both feature Flatscreens and Fireplaces. Across the hall is a handsome Bedroom with Flatscreen Fireplace, and Queen Sleigh Bed. Downstairs off the Kitchen is a private Bedroom, with Queen Bed and Office with another Queen Bed, and private Bath; THERE IS A DOOR BETWEEN THE TWO BEDROOMS. There is one Bedroom and Bath upstairs that are off limits and locked. You will be furnished with the numbers of the Owner as well as a Handyman in case of questions or problems. Someone will be available during Hours 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Lawrenceburg is quickly becoming famous for it's eclectic Downtown district, boasting several unusual Shoppes, restaurants, and charming storefronts. Strolling Downtown has become a favorite pastime for Tourists and Townies alike. Kavanaugh School is just a couple of blocks from Main Street and the perfect distance to walk to Dinner. There is plenty of Parking outside the Kavanaugh House. The yard is encircled by a decorative Wrought Iron fence sporting the logo of the Horse Farm associated with it. This is a very safe location with a Police Station a block away and an Alarm System in the Home. As we expand services associated with this Property, we intend to offer Tours of the Distillerys, reengage a Liquor License and organize Riding at the nearby Owner's Horse Farm. Our presence will be minimal and worked out in advance if at all.
