This home is a "Serve Yourself" Accommodations Experience. You bring your personal hygiene items, paper products, food and clothing and use my home as if it was your own. Our home is a welcoming environment with three dining areas, four sitting areas to inspire people to sit, relax and visit. There are many games under the year-round Christmas trees. Also available are cards, chess set and and Chinese checkers as accent pieces. If you are a reader visit our in-house library collections. Our home is a work in progress. Families have enjoyed coming here for over 5 years for joyous and sad occasions. There are enough gathering rooms for any type of catching up with friends and families. In lieu of TV cable we have a Smart TV with an HDMI cable for access to a computer. Our internet service is not as fast as most - part of living in a rural area of Western NY. Media devices include VHS, CD and DVD players with surround sound. Check out our turntable collection of records or the 50-60's music collections. A local video store and a "Redbox" kiosk are available and close by for movies. Owner/host prefers to reserve personal bedroom/office for her use and access during visitors' stay. However, provisions can be made for this additional space if need be. This is primarily a personal residence which is shared with travelers and families. As my children say, "Mother, you have so much stuff in your home." They are correct but there is a story behind most pieces of furniture and wall accessories. There is a full basement which is under construction for a future man's cave and is not available to renters. Lastly, our "Rural Chic Farmhouse" is "grande" on the inside and in need of attention on the outside and surrounding site work is under development. Everyone who visits my home falls in love with it. The host is very familiar with all the tourist options for discovering the Finger Lakes and Western NY. Guests will have access to the living areas of my home. Kitchen privileges are included whether you wish to eat in or eat out. This is a full service kitchen with almost all small appliances. There is a Keurig coffee maker as well as a regular coffee maker. Other small appliances include Foreman Grill, hand mixer, blender, bullet, griddle, vegetable steamer, crockpot and toaster. Our host shares her home's space with her guests. Interactions between hosts and guests is best determined by our guests.
