This traditional Lakeland stone house has great views and open fire and is located in the village of Glenridding near to Lake Ullswater in the Lake District National Park, sleeping four people in two bedrooms. Seldom Seen is located half an hour's drive from Glenridding village next to Lake Ullswater in the Lake District. The house can sleep 2 adults and 2 children and has two bedrooms, one main bedroom and one bedroom with a built-in bunk bed. On the ground floor is an open plan sitting area with a wood burning stove and a kitchen with flagstone floors. Offering great views of the fells, the outdoor lawn area has somewhere to sit and on-street parking on the track. Not far from Glenridding, there’s access to convenience shops, pubs and hotels serving country food. Perfect for exploring Helvellyn and Lake Ullswater, Seldom Seen offers a quintessential outdoorsy summer or cosy winter stay. Amenities: Electric heating, 1 wood burning stove, details of where to purchase logs are in the property. Linen is provided. Towels not provided. Electric oven and hob, washing machine, fridge, microwave. Open plan sitting room, TV, DVD player. On-street parking by the track. Lawn area with seating area and view of the fells. Local amenities, pubs, convenience shops and hotels with restaurants. Lake 10 min walk. Note: not recommended for children under 5 or those with mobility issues as stairs are steep. Town: The picturesque village of Pooley Bridge sits on the northerly edge of Lake Ullswater in the Lake District National Park. The name Pooley came to be due to the forming of a large pool, which was left by the fast flowing River Eamont, and the word Bridge was later added when a bridge, which is now 250 years old, was built over the river.
