The charming seaside town of Cleveleys, with its award-winning promenade, is just 2 miles to the north and has a good selection of shops, bars and cafés. Just 3 miles to the south lies the livelier resort of Blackpool where there is a wealth of attractions including Blackpool Tower, The Winter Gardens and Opera House, Sealife Centre, The Sandcastle Waterpark, Madame Tussauds, the Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Zoo. The town hosts many events throughout the year, including the illuminations and also the World Firework Championships, held every Friday in September. The Willows is only 9 miles from Lytham St Annes, which boasts many lovely shops, bars and restaurants. Fleetwood Freeport Shopping Village is just 5 miles away. There is so much to see and do in the area and a tram stop not far from The Willows means that you can enjoy all of the area’s attractions without having to worry about traffic or parking. Many other places worth visiting include Stanley Park, Marton Mere Nature Reserve, The Wyre Estuary Country Park, Pilling marshes and The Forest of Bowland.
