When you step into "McDaniel's Corner" you get a Quiet and Modern Feel in a 'Cozy' Early Nineteenth Century brick home. In this First Floor Apartment, we did our best to help our guests feel comfortable and provide modern day luxuries while still maintaining the integrity and history of this beautiful home. Welcome to the Heart of North Wilmington. "McDaniels Corner" is the perfect place for you and your group to relax and unwind from a busy day. Enter into living room with Cozy couches, entertainment system with cable, Netflix, HBO, and Amazon Prime. Dining room is spacious and kitchen has plenty of room for cooking and preparing meals. Kitchen is stocked with all necessities as well as cups, plates and utensils. There is a Keurig with pods in the kitchen and a toaster and microwave. Bathroom has been updated but still has a cozy feel to it. Enjoy the King Size Beauty Rest Mattress in the Bedroom with plenty of storage space and cabinets. There is a washer and dryer in the basement with iron and ironing board for your convenience. Whole first floor apartment. Shared utility room in basement (washer/dryer) I am available by phone or text North Wilmington has plenty to offer the busy traveler. There are a few bars within walking distance of the home. We have 7 supermarkets within 5 miles, a mall, movie theater, plenty of restaurants and shopping. Ask me for some of my local favorites. If you're looking for coffee in the morning, check out Manhattan bagel, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, or Brew HaHa our local coffee shop all within 1 mile of the home. The best way to get around town is by car although most shopping and restaurants are within a few miles of the home. If you're looking to get some exercise, there are many parks and trails nearby. Even just taking a quick stroll through the neighborhood always calms my nerves from a long day. The neighborhood is very safe and the neighbors are friendly.
