Cedarhurst 2

Our home was built in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) and is used to welcoming guests. In the early (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) 's it was a bed&breakfast called Cedarhurst Farm. We are situated at the center of Dutchess County, about one and a half hour north of New York City. This puts you within easy reach of many places of interest in all directions. Beautiful rural towns like Rhinebeck, Hudson, New Paltz at the foothills of the mountainous Catskill area and the artist community of Beacon, to name a few. Two rooms are available on the second floor, both face west. This listing, Cedarhurst 2, is for the smaller of the two. Both are bright and airy, filled with sunlight in the afternoon. In case both rooms are booked, the bathroom on the same floor, will be shared with other guests. We offer a simple breakfast, fresh coffee, bread or bagel and a fruit salad, to get you ready for the day. Since we are both retired, one of us is usually available to answer any questions you may have, we'll do our best with them... and sometimes we (Hidden by Airbnb) ! Places we love in our neighborhood... the mile-long Walkway over the Hudson, a refurbished rail bridge that offers a magnificent view of the massive Hudson river. A favorite classic diner in nearby Millbrook. A wonderfully situated restaurant with a large terrace overlooking the Hudson, called the Ice House. The impressive Dia Beacon, a haven for lovers of contemporary art. Exploring the Hudson Valley is best done by car. A day trip through the Catskills could include a stop at the wonderful Mohonk House. If you love biking or hiking, there are plenty of trails for both in our area.
