Greta Cottage is a terraced cottage in the village of Ingleton on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The cottage can sleep three people and has one double and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage is an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove and a sofa bed for flexibility. Outside is off road parking for one car and a front patio with furniture. Greta Cottage is an ideal base from which to explore this lovely part of the country. Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview and Wifi. CD/radio, selection of books and games. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking outside cottage. Front patio with furniture. Sorry, no smoking and no pets. Shops and pubs 3 mins walk. Note: The walk up to the village is via a steep hill. The centre of the village is pretty, with narrow and winding streets centred on a tiny market place. The village's well known White Scar Caves, a mile outside the village on the Hawes road, are open to the public and have a dazzling display of stalactites and stalagmites, caverns and a huge underground lake.
